I don’t even watch the show but gotdamn!
I know winter is approaching but remember, no one in the world needs a mink coat but a mink.
And in case anyone is wondering why fur is bad (what planet do you live on?), please have a gander at the cruel and horrific video below.
The Cove Comes To South Park
Posted in animal cruelty, video/media by thuy | Tags: dolphin slaughter, japan dolphin slaughter, south park, taiji, the coveThis episode might be viewed as racist but I don’t care, I still love Southpark! Trey Parker and Matt Stone are my heros for the day.
Commercial whaling has been banned by the IWC. The Japanese hunt whales under the guise of “research” then package and sell the meat. Japanese whalers killed over 4500 whales in the past two decades, and have almost no “research” that proves their slaughtering was justified. YOU BASTARDS!!
Learn more about the slaughter in Taiji, Japan here and be sure to watch the movie ‘The Cove‘ when it comes out on DVD.
Above is the animation- watch the real thing below and see why this cruel practice must stop. Warning: GRAPHIC!
The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? But rather, Can they suffer? ~~Jeremy Bentham
Dear Huffington Post, You’re Doing It Wrong
Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, in the wild, news, politickin', wtf by thuy | Tags: ad sales, animal cruelty, huffington post, huffington post promoting animal cruelty, peta, ringling bros.I go to Huffington Post to get my daily dose of news and to source stories for my own blog in their “green” section. They posted the story about PETA busting Ringling Bros. in an undercover video beating elephants and tigers. HP normally posts about a range of animal issues, but what I didn’t expect to see was a front page ad for a discount on Ringling Bros. tickets.
C’mon Huffpo. I don’t want to be reminded of that video every time I go to your front page to read Buzzfeed. I know, I know, ad dollars, but seriously? Did you all not see what I saw in that 5 minute video below? Bull hooks being brought down repeatedly on those elephants? Looks like animal cruelty to me.
Please do not support the most horrible show on earth!

Wilmer Valderrama Says The Circus Is For Clowns
Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights by thuy | Tags: animal abuse, animal torture, circus, circus abuse, clowns, peta, Wilmer ValderramaActually the stuff that happens to circus animals is scarier than anyone’s fear of clowns. That’s right, scarier than It, Killjoy, Poltergeist, Clownhouse and John Wayne Gacy put together. I’d much rather spend my nights worrying about Pennywise popping out from under my bed than fearing the jerkoff animal trainers and circus life. See what I mean by pressing play.
Please do not support Ringling Bros or any other circuses. Learn more about the sad living conditions and brutal torture these helpless, intelligent animals go through for our entertainment pleasure here and here.

Billionaire Tamir Sapir Busted With Dead Exotic Animals
Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, in the wild, news by thuy | Tags: exotic animals, hunting, tamir sapirA Florida federal judge has fined the owner of a luxury yacht $150,000 for decorating the big boat with allegedly smuggled exotic animal pelts, officials say.
The court also took away the pelts after the registered owner of the $26 million-dollar yacht, Ruzial Ltd., based in the Cayman Islands, pleaded guilty to violating the Endangered Species Act.
Federal court documents show Ruzial’s director is Tamir Sapir, a Russian billionaire and collector of European ivory, The Miami Herald said.
Federal agents, in a routine check of the yacht at at its Port Everglades berth, found the remains of such rarities as zebra, African lion, elephant (hide and tusks), python, jaguar and more.
The ruling by U.S. District Court Judge William Dimitrouleas this week marked the end of a 17-month-long U.S. investigation, officials said.
Hopefully one day my Indecent Proposal moment will come and when it does, I pray that my real life version of Robert Redford does not have disgusting taste in decor on his yacht like Sapir. If I came on board and saw a stuffed animal head on a mantel, I’d have to forego my million dollar deal and jump in a dingy and paddle my ass far, far away.
They should have made him pay Lorena Bobbit the $150,000 to do what she does best and show thus asshole what time it is.

Meat Was Murder For Moz At Coachella
Posted in animal cruelty, boys we heart, celeb, events, food/drink, music by thuy | Tags: animal cruelty, coachella, meat, meat is murder, morrissey, moz, mozzersThe video clip above is of Morrissey walking off the stage during his set at Coachella because the smell of cooking meat offended him.
Morrissey gave his quote of the year at Coachella just before he walked off the stage during his song “Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others”: “I can smell burning flesh and I hope to God it’s human,” he said, smelling the barbeque sold by festival vendors.
To his credit, Moz did return to the stage and continue his set, giving the explanation that “the smell of burning animals is making me sick. I just couldn’t bear it.”
Morrissey usually has a strict ban on meat products at his gigs, but at festivals, anything goes.
Homie is SERIOUS about his hatred for meat. I don’t blame him. The smell of seafood makes me want to puke through my nostrils.
In other news, he was set to play the next night in my old stomping grounds of San Francisco. He cancelled his show only to be seen later chilling at the DNA Lounge. Oh that Mozzers, always so dramatic. We wouldn’t have it any other way. But I would have been PISSED as hell if I was supposed to be attending that show and he cancelled!

Vintage River And Joaquin Phoenix For PETA
Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, celeb by thuy | Tags: animals, joaquin phoenix, kids, peta, river phoenixRiver Phoenix was into the safety and ethical treatment of all animals.
Joaquin is also known for his work as a social activist, particularly as an advocate for animal rights.
I’d like to fight for my right to not have to witness anymore of his wacky tantrums and horrible attempting-to-rap performances.
Please go back to being the Joaquin we all loved and cherished. Puh-leaze!

Eco-Terrorist Gets 22 Year Sentence
Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, environment by thuy | Tags: arson, eco-terrorist, Marie MasonMarie Mason, an environmental activist from Cincinnati, Ohio, is serving 22 years after admitting 13 counts of arson and property damage.
Homegirls beef? The fur industry, genetically modified crop research clinics and logging camps.
She’s lucky no one was hurt or killed during her firebug missions. Of course I agree she should pay for her crimes but 22 years? Kind of harsh if you ask me. I’ve seen child molesters get less time than that.
Go to Huffington Post to read the rest of the charges and her first interview from jail, where she’s going to be for a very long time.
