DMX Pleads Guilty To Animal Cruelty

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, celeb by thuy | Tags: , , ,

HAHA! Dick-M-X finally got served in Arizona last Tuesday. His sorry ass pleaded guilty to the following:

Case 1: Guilty to one count of cruelty to animals and one count of possession of narcotic drugs.
Case 2: Guilty to theft.
Case 3: Guilty to possession of marijuana.

The animal hater will be sentenced on January 30th, 2009. 10 days after we’re finally Bush-free. Best month yet.

I shouldn’t be so mean..addiction is a bitch. Watch and learn kids. Drugs makes you do effed up things. Like getting arrested 5 times in 3 months. Just say NO (to the heavy stuff.)

Donna Karan Label Goes Fur-Free!!

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, celeb, fashion, shopping by thuy | Tags: , , , ,

This is amazing to hear. PETA has tried for years to get Donna Karan amongst other designers to ditch fur. Some successfully and others not. Well days after PETA launched their (now disabled) DonnaKaranBunnyButcher.com site, DK has announced that starting with the fall 2009 line, the fashion house will no longer use fur. Tim Gunn of Project Runway narrated a video that was sent to DK, breaking down the cruel world of fur in the fashion industry.

Thank you to PETA for fighting the fight and to Donna Karan for doing the right thing. Chalk one up for the furry ones thanks to Tim Gunn!

Pierced Kittens For Sale WTF???

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, pets by thuy | Tags: , , , ,

File this under: Dumbass lady missing sensitivity chip needs to get her brain checked.

An unnamed Pennsylvania women was busted for trying to sell “Gothic kittens” with neck, ear and tail piercings on eBay. Animal Protection officers were tipped off after a listing appeared on a website under the title “pure black, tailless, pierced, gothic kitten.” The seller was asking for $400 per animal.

The woman, who had a pet grooming business in the basement of her home, is expected to face charges. I’m sorry but she needs to be beat upside the head with a recycled vibrator. I can’t wait for them to release her name/pic so I can put her ass on blast.

It’s too early to hear of all this fuckery. This story makes me want to go on a Sunday afternoon, organic Bloody Mary binge. Mmm.. Bloody Mary’s.

The thumbnail pictures below were the actual flix used on the site, showing the 3 month old kitten with two 14-gauge ear piercings and a “submission ring” through the back of its neck.

UPDATE: Here’s video with the story and her company is called: Pawside Parlor. I’m sure her business is going to shrink thanks to this.

Bye Bye Pet Love

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights by jen | Tags:

Who can resist stopping at a pet store and wondering “how much is that puppy in the window?” We’ve all spent hours gazing at these fluffy little creatures and dreaming of bringing them home with us.

Unfortunately, the reality is that pets sold at pet stores endure horrible conditions on their way to the glassed-in prison in the mall.

Longstanding pet store, Pet Love, in the Beverly Center is closing their doors after 15 years in business amidst accusations of puppy mill practices.

National animal rescue organization, Best Friends Animal Society, staged an anti-puppy mill campaign at the mall with table and fliers and petitions for “A Puppy-Store-Free-L.A”, which led to the mall not renewing Pet Love’s lease.

Doors official close January 31st, 2009.

The message here is to get your pets from a rescue center or animal shelter.

MJB, Please Tell Me What’s The 411?!

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, fashion, music by thuy | Tags: ,

Mary, Mary, Mary. I have been down with you since the days of “You Remind Me.” When I was going through heartache, my boom box wanted to scream at me for listening to “I’m going down” over and over and over again. You were also there when I found “Real Love,” for the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 8th time. You’ve been with me through the years.

I used to want dress like you, right down to the tights, oversized jerseys, knee pads and backwards caps, ok, not the knee pads. I have mortifying pictures that could ruin my fashion career today, of me and a friend at your concert in Oakland, decked out in an all over, double-F, Fendi print, two piece outfit with big ass white shades on. I’m shuddering as I type this.

I even named a GG&S category after one of your best songs ever.

But seriously girl, you’re doing the most in that dead animal look. “Share my world.” You can do it. Maybe if you watched one of those gory videos we love to post on our blog, you’ll be able to look at defenseless, furry animals in a different light and sing “Sweet Thing.”

“All That I Can Say,” is you’ll be “Just Fine” without it. I promise.

Don’t Forget The Tofurkey!

So the day we’ve all been waiting for is finally upon us. An excuse to kick our low-carb, Atkins, South Beach or Master Cleanse diet to the curb for a day and carb out on mac & cheese, creamy mashed potatoes, candied yams and veggie stuffing.

Personally I’m good on chowing down on just the sides but for the rest of you who can’t resist tearing into a turkey, how about showing a little compassion this year and dig into a mouthwatering, tender, juicy Tofurkey. Ok, so maybe the picture above isn’t really doing it justice but don’t knock it ’till you try it.

From Clueless To Kind

Your favorite Clueless girl and long-time vegan is set to write a tell-all book…. No, not about her wild-child party days, followed by a stint in rehab, more partying then a relapse, back to rehab.. rinse and repeat.

Alicia Silverstone is actually one of the few Hollywood girls who hasn’t gone that route. On the contrary she has been a strict vegan for years and hardcore animal activist. She’s also very publicly battled the bulge and was even referred to as “Fatgirl” instead of “Batgirl” in the Batman and Robin movie.

So it only makes sense that she would pen a book on vegan dieting.

The book entitled The Kind Diet is set to release in Fall 2009 and “explores the connection between what we put in our bodies and what we’re doing to the planet, and how choosing the right foods in the kitchen can help you feeling lighter, sexier, and more alive.”

The book will also include a 3-step diet program, along with 75 vegan and macrobiotic recipes.

Gwyneth Paltrow had a lot of explaining to do after becoming the face of the Tod’s campaign. She was photographed with a fur stole draped over her shoulders for the lead shot of the campaign.

Her apology to PETA in part reads-

“It was a daylong photo shoot on a boat near Capri, and there were all sorts of poses with all kinds of clothes – none with fur,” she added. “During one set-up, a stylist came up from behind and draped a stole around my shoulder.

She continued: “I didn’t pay much attention to it, and when I noticed it was fur, I assumed it was fake fur, but did not ask, so it’s my fault. I was very surprised when they ended up using that one shot out of hundreds for the centerpiece of the Tod’s ads.

“I know it’s not a great excuse, but I hope you and your members understand.”

She also stated that she doesn’t wear fur at all and she and her family mostly eat a vegetarian diet.

Well… we’ll let it slip this time… but we’re watchin’ you Gwynnie.

Another Undercover Video Of Turkey Abuse

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, food/drink, health, news by thuy

This will be my first Thanksgiving sans turkey. Thinking about it, I’ve been kinda feeling sorry for myself. Envisioning my plate consisting of just the fixings, I thought, it’s not going to be the same without it. And to all my veggie friends, yes, I know about Tofurky, but ya’ll know I’m still not big on the whole fake meat thing just yet.

After watching this video I busted in on my own pity party and was reminded once again, exactly why I gave up meat in the beginning of the year.

LEWISBURG, W.Va. (AP) _ Global poultry grower Aviagen Inc. said Wednesday it has suspended a supervisor and would investigate a video released by an animal rights group that appears to show horrific abuse of turkeys at the company’s West Virginia farms.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said the video, which includes workers stomping on turkeys’ heads and twisting their necks to kill them, was shot by an undercover investigator who worked on the companies’ farms for more than two months.

Some wannabe smart lady of the National Turkey Federation in Washington, D.C., questioned the timing of PETA’s sting, saying that the turkey industry takes pride in the health and well being of its flocks and this was an isolated event. She said some other stuff but I’m too annoyed to type it all out. Just watch the video.

I want to ask Mrs. Fur-Trim Wearing Smartypants if she’s personally been to ALL of the thousands of farms across the U.S. on a daily basis to confirm her statement. Farm abuse happens all the time and there is no way to regulate it. I don’t care when or how the hell this video was shot. It shows us, the consumers, the truth. Thank you Peta! And back to her isolated comment, does that include the previous account of the Butterball factory farm getting busted for animal abuse too? Isolated my ass.

By all means, enjoy your turkey this year but please at least look into getting an organic, free-range turkey with no antibiotics, hormones or preservatives. You can pre-order them at Whole Foods.

Oh yea, duh *warning* the video has graphic content. You can thank the fine, educated, compassionate, hard working employees of the AVIAGEN farm for that.

If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian. ~Paul McCartney

Hallelujah For The Farm Animals

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, environment, food/drink, health, politickin' by thuy | Tags: , ,

It won’t exactly be like the picture above, but hopefully it will be better than those below.

We made our voices heard for the ones that do not have one. It’s simply wrong to confine veal calves, breeding pigs, and egg-laying hens in tiny cages barely larger than their bodies. Calves are tethered by the neck and can barely move, pigs in severe confinement bite the metal bars of their crates, and hens get trapped and even impaled in their wire cages. We wouldn’t force our pets to live in filthy, cramped cages for their whole lives, and we shouldn’t force farm animals to endure such misery. All animals, including those raised for food, deserve humane treatment.

This was needed for the animals and ourselves. Factory farms put our health at risk—cramming tens of thousands of animals into tiny cages, fostering the spread of diseases that may affect people. YES! on Prop 2 is better for animals—and for us.

The American Public Health Association called for a moratorium on new factory farms because of the devastating effects these operations can have on surrounding communities, spreading untreated waste on the ground and contaminating our waterways, lakes, groundwater, soil, and air. Prop 2 helps stop some of the worst abuses and protects our precious natural resources. That’s why California Clean Water Action and Sierra Club-California supported YES! on Prop 2.

Please Vote YES On Prop 2

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, food/drink, health, politickin' by thuy | Tags:

What it would do: Require farmers to pen egg-laying hens, veal and pregnant pigs in ways that allow the animals to lie down, stand up, fully extend their limbs and turn around freely. Exceptions are made for the transportation of these animals, rodeos, fairs, 4-H programs, lawful slaughter, research and veterinary purposes.

What it would cost: The state legislative analyst’s office concluded that there is a potential that state and local tax revenue from farm businesses could decrease, possibly in the range of several million dollars a year. There is also a potential minor cost to enforce the law, which would partly be offset by increased fine revenue.

Who’s for it: U.S. Sens. Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein; Assembly members Loni Hancock (Berkeley) and Mark Leno (San Francisco); the city councils of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berkeley and Davis; the Humane Society of the United States; Oakland Animal Services.

PETA acticvists arrived in full Olsen twin regalia baring signs that read “Fur hags from hell and fur tramps.”

When will the twins learn that fur is meant to be on animals…. not on your jacket, hat, handbag etc.

My Mom Is The Illest

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, food/drink, reduce/reuse/recycle, reusable by thuy

Every time my mom rolls into town from the Bay, it’s mandatory that we head out to Chinatown to spend a day shopping and eating. I was happy to see her sporting the reusable Whole Foods bag I gave her on her last trip out here. Asians love them some plastic bags so I’m proud that she’s at least attempting to take small baby steps and reduce her use of petroleum based bags.

The flicks below were shot around Chinatown.

Red ear slider turtles being sold at a kiosk along side kung fu slippers and bamboo plants.

Ducks and a pig hanging from a restaurant window. It was hella hot outside and even hotter inside. I couldn’t help but to think of all the bacteria that was growing on the flesh of someone’s future dinner.

My favorite was of homeboy rocking his recycling contraption as if he were on a rice paddy in Vietnam. My least favorite pix: see post below.

Black Market Los Angeles

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, food/drink by thuy | Tags: , , ,

After a long day of shopping in chinatown, my mom wanted to stop at a market to pick up some rice before we headed home. It was the typical shopping experience I have every time we go to any asian grocery store.. weird looking foods, funny smells, words I can’t read on packaging, and side eye stares thrown at me from the elders that translate into, “what are you doing in here whitey?” It’s definitely not your average Trade Joe’s run.

When we got to the fresh seafood section in the back of the store, I tried to hurry past the sickening sight and smell of the dead fish behind the glass counter. I HATE seafood. (I know, I’m a dysfunctional 1/2 asian.) I scurried past it all quickly, only to be stopped dead in my tracks by the sight above.

Turtles piled high on top of each other in cages without any room to move, food or water. What are turtles doing in an asian market? They’re on sale for turtle soup. Yep, you get to choose from neglected & confined small size turtles or stressed & battered large size ones. Oh and you also get your choice of hard shell or soft shell. The most f*cked up part was when I noticed a turtle with his shell cracked and bleeding.

A delicacy to some but painful and disgusting to me. Proposition 貳- let’s get it started.

Population Control

Posted in animal rights, celeb, pets by thuy | Tags: , , , ,

The numbers are staggering! Studies show that one female dog and her descendants can produce as many as 67,000 dogs in six years. In seven years, a single unspayed female cat and her offspring can produce up to 420,000 kittens. Sadly, the majority of these animals ultimately meet an untimely death.

Unwanted and abandoned, many do not survive the harsh conditions of life on the streets. The millions of animals who end up in shelters only stand a 50% chance of being adopted. The rest are euthanized. Tragically, most of these poor creatures would have made wonderful companions – but they ran out of time.

Effective spaying and neutering can dramatically reduce the number of perfectly adoptable companion animals who are currently being euthanized in shelters across the United States. With fewer dogs and cats competing for adoption into loving forever homes, their chances of survival improve immensely.

Banksy Will You Marry Me?

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, art, eye candy, pets by thuy | Tags: ,

Banksy has opened a faux pet shop in New York called The Village Pet Store And Charcoal Grill. It’s his first official exhibition in NY and his first project using animatronics, moving away from his stencil and street art approach.

Here’s a quote from Banksy on the Wooster Collective website.. “New Yorkers don’t care about art, they care about pets. So I’m exhibiting them instead. I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art”

In one exhibit, a pair of chicken nuggets with legs dip themselves in sauce as a rooster looks on from a doghouse. Another shows fish sticks swimming in a fish bowl. There’s also an adorned rabbit beautifying herself with an assortment of cosmetics in front of a vanity mirror. We all know how rabbits love to be tested on for makeup. My favorite is the sleeping leopard that is actually a strategically placed fake fur coat.

It’s located at 89 7th Avenue (between West 4th and Bleeker) in Greenwich Village and is open every day from 10 am to midnight, showing until October 31st. If you can’t make it, videos of the animatronics can be seen on the show’s website. I’ve posted several of them in the post below. This story was too good for just one!

To my friends and readers in NY, if you go to the installation, can you pretty please grab me a business card from the store? xx

Thank you Lexie!

Do You Consider This Art?

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, art by thuy | Tags: , , , ,

In the same week that bankers, financiers and investors experienced “Black Monday,” controversial artist Damien Hirst held a two day auction at Sotheby’s that brought him 198.7 million dollars. The auction titled, “Beautiful Inside My Head Forever.” consisted of 223 works that he had produced over the last two years.

Death is a central theme in Hirst’s works. He became famous for a series in which dead animals (including a shark, a sheep and a cow) are preserved—sometimes having been dissected—in formaldehyde. He made his name sawing up cows, pickling sheep and suspending sharks in tanks, explaining that his work is a stark meditation on life and death.

I couldn’t find any info on where Hirst got his animals, except for the shark. He wanted something “big enough to eat you” and boy did he get it. A 12 foot tiger shark, caught by an Aussie fisherman commissioned to do so for $200. That piece sold for 21 million dollars.

Preserving an animal that died naturally is different to catching and killing one for the sake of art but I guess I’m not the one laughing all the way to the bank.

Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey Breast Milk Flavor?

PETA has sent a letter to ice cream purveyors, Ben & Jerry’s, urging them to end the needless suffering of dairy cows and their calves, by using human breast milk in their ice cream instead of cow’s milk. This request comes on the heels of a Swiss restaurateur’s decision to substitute breast milk from lactating mothers for 75% of the cow’s milk used in the dishes he serves.

Get Yo’ Bump N Grind On With Yes

Posted in animal rights, health, reduce/reuse/recycle, sexy ting tings by thuy | Tags: , , , , , ,

It’s companies like Yes and Rent A Green Box that get my organic cotton panties wet. Yes is a natural lubricant that is made from organic ingredients, which means it is completely free of parabens, glycerin, hormones, silicones and petroleum products.

Remember, ladies you’re putting this stuff in your honey pot and guys, your love stick is going to be swimming in it, so you may want to go the natural way.

The company is also against testing on animals. Did you know that KY tests their warming liquids by rubbing it on rabbits vaginas and penises? Poor rabbits!

Yes recognizes that global warming is real and they are committed to the 3 R’s in their business practice. They reduce packaging and their energy use. What they can’t reduce, they reuse, and the rest gets recycled. They adhere to a sustainable wood policy and make donations that support a climate change initiative. And of course, all of their packaging and containers are recyclable.

And since YES is the name of one of my favorite dances, I leave you with this video by comedian and dancer, Robert Hoffman. Seriously, get your earphones on if you’re at work, it’s kinda NSFWish and press play, over and over and over again.

“Oh-oh, look at Kiki, she caught the YES. Alright, slow down bitch, that’s enough. Kiki stop, you’re YESING too hard!”

I need to offset the the depressing post below. I’ve never been a big chihuahua lover, but these ones melted my heart. The pups were born with a congenital defect that left them without front legs. They were rescued from a puppy mill by the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, NY on Long Island, which is the world’s largest no-kill pet adoption center and is home to many special needs pets.

Donors contributed 1k for custom aluminum-frame scooters for the pups in January. Before that, the dogs were able to hop and walk on their hind legs. They have since been adopted by Donna Imhof who works as a veterinary technician at North Shore. Truly amazing.

What Would You Title This Post?

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, food/drink, health by thuy | Tags: , , , , , ,

I can’t even put into words what this story made me feel. Although I don’t agree with some of Peta’s tactics of getting their messages across, I am always grateful for their undercover videos of animal abuse.

I can’t refrain or apologize for putting these type of pictures or videos (click it, I double dog dare ya) on this blog. Ever. I’m sure these are not the images anyone wants to see while having their morning coffee and breakfast, especially if it consists of bacon, but I feel the need to spread the word to those that want to know what’s really going down in the green pastures slaughterhouses of America.

In this undercover video, workers on a hog feedlot are seen slamming baby pigs onto a cement floor, shocking them with cattle prods, beating them with metal poles and shoving poles into the anuses and vaginas of the animals.

The feedlot is located in Bayard, Iowa and provides meat to Hormel Foods, the maker of SPAM. After earlier Humane Society videos documented cattle abuse at feedlots, Hormel said none of its suppliers abused animals.

PETA will turn its videos over to the Green County Sheriff’s Department and demand the arrest of 18 workers. PETA says the following abuses were witnessed by its investigators:

  • A supervisor shoved a cane into a sow’s vagina, struck her on the back about 17 times, and then struck another sow.
  • Multiple pigs were beaten with metal gate rods, and lacerations were found on more than 30 sows – which is probably evidence of more abuse.
  • A worker hit a young pig in the face four times with the edge of a herding board, and investigators witnessed dozens of similar incidents involving this worker and 11 other workers.
  • Two men – including a supervisor – were witnessed jabbing clothespins into pigs’ eyes and faces. A supervisor also poked two animals in the eyes with his fingers.

And this my dear friends, is one of the biggest reasons why I gave up meat on January 2nd, 2008. I can’t understand this type of cruel and perverted behavior. WTF compels human beings to do this to animals?

The thumbnails below are of:

  • A pig that had blue toxic paint sprayed into it’s snout and eyes as she nursed her piglets.
  • Piglets that were slammed into the ground to be killed but are still alive, suffering til their death.
  • Tails and testacles that were cut without any anesthetic.
  • A pig forced to farrow in a cage just large enough to allow the sow to lie on her side.

Chocolate Sun

Posted in animal rights, beauty, reduce/reuse/recycle by jen | Tags: , , , ,

Would you consider yourself sun-challenged? Do people think they’ve seen a ghost when you strip down to your bikini or swim trunks? If this sounds like you, have no fear… Chocolate Sun is here!!

Chocolate Sun is an all-natural, sunless tanning company located in Santa Monica, California. In traditional sunless tanning salons, the tanning formulas contain unnatural dyes, chemicals and preservatives. Chocolate Sun owner, Susie Hatton, worked with a chemist to create their own botanical formula enriched with herbs, vitamins and anti-oxidants.

Due to the all-natural formula, there is no nasty odor that is usually associated with sunless tanning. In addition, the salon will customize a tan fragrance by adding natural essential oils to the formula. A full body tan is $55, and discounts are offered if you buy a tanning package series.

They also offer a line of skin care called “Flowers” which is 100% chemical preservative free (grapefruit seed extract is used as a preservative). They use recycled packaging for the products, and do not test on animals.

Not only does our boy, Marcus Troy hold bragging rights to his infamous cyber battle with Kanye West (which garnered national press attention, might I add) he also reps the T Dot (that’s Toronto for y’all that aren’t up on the urban slang), and is a blogger extraordinaire.

One of the recent stops in his fabulous life was as a guest at the Toronto launch of Kate Hudson and David Babaii’s WildAid cruelty-free hair care line.

Check out his personal pics here.

I’ll let this video of chef Jamie Oliver slaughtering a chicken in front of a live studio audience and 4 million viewers, speak for itself. Disturbing to say the least.

I Am Not A Handbag

Posted in Peeps We Rep, animal rights, art by jen | Tags: , , , , , ,

I saw this image awhile back and it was shocking to say the least.. but shocking in a way that you can’t stop staring at it. I recently came across it again on Rickey Kim’s online magazine Evil Monito, and figured the imagery was too insane not to post.

The piece entitled “excessory baggage” by Meryl Smith was part of a group exhibition at the Honey Space, where curators asked artists to create sculptures that fit the measurement requirements for international carry-on luggage.

Before PETA hunts me down for glorifying this art made with some parts leather (as well as metals, papier mache etc). Let’s try to accept the message being delivered.. that pets, no matter how cute and pocket-sized, are not accessories. Paris? Britney? Are you listening??

PETA Protects Pit Bulls

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, pets by jen | Tags: , ,

If you can get through this article without shedding a tear or at the very least getting a lump in your throat, then you are a definitely a stronger person than me. The picture alone puts me over the top, having owned a gentle, lovable, loyal pit bull myself. In a nutshell in December 2006 in Windsor, North Carolina, PETA fieldworkers were called in to investigate a report from neighbors of 3 starved pitbulls (Buck, Mylie and Roscoe).

Upon arriving at the property, PETA workers found all 3 dogs dead, still on chains, mere skeletons covered by skin. They had no bedding or body fat to cover them from the freezing winter temperatures. The dogs’ owner, Walter Overton, showed no remorse and admitted to having known the dogs were sick and suffering at least 4-5 weeks prior to their death, and not having fed them in the week leading up to their death.

PETA worked with local law enforcement to bring charges of animal cruelty against Overton. In a county that does not usually pursue such cases, Overton was convicted and was sentenced to jail time, fines, court costs and probation. The best part about the conviction is that Overton is forbidden to own or harbor animals in the future.

Sucks To Be The Stylist That Did This Shoot

Posted in animal cruelty, animal rights, fashion by thuy | Tags: , , , , ,

Being a wardrobe stylist myself, I have to admit that I’ve had a few nightmares of showing up for a shoot and having some diva celebrity or a high maintenance producer not liking anything I’ve brought, even though there’s like 3 rolling racks of clothes to choose from. I’m knocking on sustainable, harvested wood as I type this. I’ve yet to have a nightmare of pissing a designer off though, up until now.

Stella McCartney was furious when she found out that lingerie from her line was loaned out to a stylist and used in an advert for a fur company. The ad features a model sporting a SM bra and draped in a $12,000.00 mink coat. It is well known, especially in the fashion world, that Stella is an animal/Peta activist, as well as being strongly against using fur or leather in her clothing line.

Hockley, a London boutique renowned for stocking the world’s best nastiest fur designers, has apologised for the mistake. A spokesman for the company said: ‘Hockley is aware of Stella McCartney’s views and is respectful of them. This was an unfortunate mistake and Hockley would not intentionally make anyone feel uncomfortable.

‘Hockley both requested and was told that the item was a vintage piece and apologizes for any embarrassment caused to Stella McCartney. It is not Hockley’s intention to use the image again.’

A little late now since it’s already in print in the current Vogue. Would you pay $12,000.00 to support this cruel and horrific industry? Let’s all say a lil’ prayer for the stylist before we go to bed tonight.
