Ok, I lied. Had time to check out some blogs, Twitter and FB and I wanted to share a post my friend Raymond wrote on Huffington Post this past weekend.

Read it, watch the videos, check out the feedback and share your thoughts. 1000 comments so far and he’s done it before with this post: Stop Blaming California’s Black Voters for Prop 8.

Keep on keepin’ on RayRo. xx

101 Days Later And I’m Still In Love

It seems like it was just yesterday when this man came into our lives, speaking of change and actually making moves to better the environment.

Obama makes the green section of my heart go pitty pat and for that, I thank him. I raise my glass yet again in honor of all the days to come with him in the White/Green House. Salud!

Meat Was Murder For Moz At Coachella

Posted in animal cruelty, boys we heart, celeb, events, food/drink, music by thuy | Tags: , , , , , ,

The video clip above is of Morrissey walking off the stage during his set at Coachella because the smell of cooking meat offended him.

Morrissey gave his quote of the year at Coachella just before he walked off the stage during his song “Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others”: “I can smell burning flesh and I hope to God it’s human,” he said, smelling the barbeque sold by festival vendors.

To his credit, Moz did return to the stage and continue his set, giving the explanation that “the smell of burning animals is making me sick. I just couldn’t bear it.”

Morrissey usually has a strict ban on meat products at his gigs, but at festivals, anything goes.

Homie is SERIOUS about his hatred for meat. I don’t blame him. The smell of seafood makes me want to puke through my nostrils.

In other news, he was set to play the next night in my old stomping grounds of San Francisco. He cancelled his show only to be seen later chilling at the DNA Lounge. Oh that Mozzers, always so dramatic. We wouldn’t have it any other way. But I would have been PISSED as hell if I was supposed to be attending that show and he cancelled!
