Chocolate Sun is an all-natural, sunless tanning company located in Santa Monica, California. In traditional sunless tanning salons, the tanning formulas contain unnatural dyes, chemicals and preservatives. Chocolate Sun owner, Susie Hatton, worked with a chemist to create their own botanical formula enriched with herbs, vitamins and anti-oxidants.

Due to the all-natural formula, there is no nasty odor that is usually associated with sunless tanning. In addition, the salon will customize a tan fragrance by adding natural essential oils to the formula. A full body tan is $55, and discounts are offered if you buy a tanning package series.

They also offer a line of skin care called “Flowers” which is 100% chemical preservative free (grapefruit seed extract is used as a preservative). They use recycled packaging for the products, and do not test on animals.
