Clorox = Green?
Posted in shopping by jen | Tags: 1-4 dioxane, Clorox green works, method, seventh generation, sierra clobClorox is staking its place in the environmentally-friendly product marketplace. Traditionally Clorox has been perceived as the antithesis of all things green, but not for long.
Launched in January 2008, Clorox Green Works eco-friendly cleaning products are on track to sell $40 million worth of its new line in the U.S, surpassing well known green companies such as Method and Seventh Generation.
Not only are Clorox Green Works products endorsed by conservation group Sierra Club, but they are now one of the few companies who have created cleaning products without the cancer-causing chemical 1,4-dioxane.
Eco-conscious companies such as Method and Seventh Generation are still creating products with this deadly ingredient.
Definitely something to consider on your next trip to Target to pick up your cleaning supplies.
