Electric Avenue

With gas nearing 5 bones a gallon and all this talk of it possibly doubling that in the next few years, I’m starting to rethink my longing for a fuel/electric hybrid. I’ve never been much of a sports car type of gal, but the Tesla Roadster is definitely seducing me with its lithium-ion battery pack as well as its sleek & sexy design. It goes 0 to 60 in under 4 seconds and Tesla claims it will get 220 miles of driving per charge. I’m not sure when this car is officially coming out, but we did happen to pass a Tesla showroom off of Santa Monica Blvd., recently so hopefully in the near future.
