Although the debate over blackberry vs. iphone rages on (Team Blackberry over here, in case you were wondering). Something even more revolutionary has hit the streets.

The just-released Motorola Renew, offered through T-Mobile, is the “world’s first carbon-neutral cell phone,” with 100 percent recycled packaging, plastic components made from recycled water bottles, and an energy-sipping power system that offers up to nine hours of talk time.

It also boasts a basic music player and a Micro SD memory-card slot. The call quality is excellent due to a CrystalTalk noise-reduction technology. It is extremely compact (4.4 x 0.6 x 1.8 inches) and featherweight (3 ounces).

Best of all it’s MAD cheap!!

$9.99 with service at T-Mobile.
