H&M Organics
Posted in fashion, reduce/reuse/recycle, shopping by jen | Tags: H&M, organic cotton, petIn an effort to be more eco-conscious H&M is aiming to increase the use of organic cotton by 50% in 2009 as compared to its useage in 2008.
You can always count on H&M for reasonably priced but well made interpretations of current runway trends. It’s my go-to spot if I’m in a clothing dilemma or on a budget.
I’m particularly a fan of the organic cotton line, not only for its environmentally friendly properties, but the cotton is super soft.
The Spring 2009 organic collection will include garments made from recycled materials such as PET bottles and textile remnants, wool from worn-out woolen garments and remnants of fabric, as well as recycled cotton which is recycled from fabric remnants in production.
