MJB, Please Tell Me What’s The 411?!

Mary, Mary, Mary. I have been down with you since the days of “You Remind Me.” When I was going through heartache, my boom box wanted to scream at me for listening to “I’m going down” over and over and over again. You were also there when I found “Real Love,” for the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 8th time. You’ve been with me through the years.

I used to want dress like you, right down to the tights, oversized jerseys, knee pads and backwards caps, ok, not the knee pads. I have mortifying pictures that could ruin my fashion career today, of me and a friend at your concert in Oakland, decked out in an all over, double-F, Fendi print, two piece outfit with big ass white shades on. I’m shuddering as I type this.

I even named a GG&S category after one of your best songs ever.

But seriously girl, you’re doing the most in that dead animal look. “Share my world.” You can do it. Maybe if you watched one of those gory videos we love to post on our blog, you’ll be able to look at defenseless, furry animals in a different light and sing “Sweet Thing.”

“All That I Can Say,” is you’ll be “Just Fine” without it. I promise.
