Text 4 A Good Cause
Posted in charitable causes by jen | Tags: AT&T, operation no kid hungryAs much time as we spend blowing folks up on our crackberries, it wouldn’t hurt to actually send a text for a good cause.
AT&T wants you to donate to the “Operation No Kid Hungry Text Campaign.”
From now until March 1, wireless phone users, including AT&T customers, can donate $5 to Share Our Strength by simply texting the word “SHARE” to 20222 on their mobile device.
AT&T will match text donations for a total contribution up to $100,000.
Donations from the text program will help provide food for the 12.4 million children at risk of hunger in America and will help address the recent increase in demand for food aid across the nation.
Note- A one-time charge of $5 will be added to your mobile phone bill. Standard messaging rates and additional fees may apply. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider.
