Why Good Girls Love Bad Boys
Posted in auto/transportation, environment by thuy | Tags: board/bikes, safetyJen and I have been on a mission to ride our bikes as an alternative form of transportation, but honestly, we’re a bit skerrd. Last month, I witnessed a guy get smacked off his bike by a car, and since we’ve been looking into bike riding safety in LA, it’s quite discouraging.
The members of CRIMANIMALZ took to the streets on May 9th. They videotaped their crew of about 30 cyclists getting onto the I-10 Fwy, during rush hour and riding almost two miles to the 405 Fwy. Their message: RIDE A BIKE, YOU’D BE HOME BY NOW. They are looking for city officials to make bicycle safety a priority, not only through the creation of safe and easy places to ride, but also as a means of transportation. A dangerous statement, not to mention illegal, but one with great intent. The city of angels needs to wake up and smell the smog!
Note: GGS digs masked, renegade, bicycle boys! Holla at yo’ ride or die chics!
